Two Tiny Wheels, One Circus Bike, Zero Ideas On Operating The Brake

Maybe it was all those rides on the Hopper, honing his balance. Maybe being the littler-est brother has something to do with it. Maybe as a baby his bottles were filled with monkey chow. Whatever the reason, Tommy decided today--at the ripe old age of nearly four--that he would ride that bike. And ride it he did.

I have a few videos of him tootling around (and around) the cul-de-sac, but for some annoying reason the uploading process hit a snag. Just imagine a dizzying amount of laps around me, and only a minor crash or two.

So nice when they are self-motivated. Caroline went off training wheels this summer. One more to go before our circus of 7 hits the bike trails.

Maybe he can come over and teach Margo how.

Are you kidding. That, to me and my balance-challenged children (yes, I like passing on my crap genes, why do you ask) is nothing short of a miracle. T, we bow to you.
